About the role

Peraton is seeking a Knowledge Manager to join the USCYBERCOM team in the Fort Meade, MD area. This role acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for Knowledge Management and its reporting capabilities, managing content and workflow while educating front-end users on the use of the Knowledge Management System.

• Integrates information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
• Trains and educates front-end users of knowledge management tools.
• Coordinates process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of technology solutions, facilitates discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices, and coordinates the development and modification of new and existing content.
• Provides operational support to CNMF by conducting and overseeing data analysis to optimize search results and ensure proper categorization of content.
• Provides strategic direction to business groups through initiative prioritizing, integration, and resource application, ensuring policies and procedures align with the USCYBERCOM mission.
• Manages content that integrates information from departments and functions to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information.
• Oversees reporting to support operations and prepares analysis and recommendations related to categorization of content and optimizing search results.
• Monitors solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure ongoing benefits are realized (e.g., improved process consistency and faster onboarding of information).
• Facilitates development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation, and prepares presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• Significant SharePoint and Confluence experience is required.
• Experience designing SharePoint and Confluence front-end solutions based on business requirements.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms.
• Ability to build SharePoint Online solutions comprised of workflows, forms, and dashboards.
• Knowledge of USCYBERCOM/CNMF mission is helpful.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Jira experience is preferred.

Pay

Target salary range: $112,000 - $179,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including scope and responsibilities of the position, individual experience, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, geographic location, and business or contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
