Knott's Scary Farm Guest Control Team Member

About the role

Maintains lines for the Knott's Scary Farm event in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring lines do not block walkways. Performs duties related to crowd control, guest service, and assists with emergency evacuation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety in queues, mazes and attractions.
• Assist supervisors and guests with standard exiting procedures.
• Answer guests' questions, give directions, and provide a safe and friendly controlled environment.
• Clean and maintain attraction and queue areas.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

Requirements

• Age requirement: 18+.
• Must be available for all Haunt nights assigned.
• Must be able to work with employees and guests in a positive, productive, and professional manner.
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure and diffuse tense situations such as line jumping and attraction closures.
• Basic arithmetic, counting and time keeping skills are required.
• Ability to comfortably stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to be exposed to entertainment special effects (e.g., loud noises, fog, strobing lights).
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Schedule

• Position runs through October 31, the last day of this year's Knott's Scary Farm event.
• Event dates (subject to change): September 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 27; October 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31.
