Responsibilities
- Create and design styles and update tech packs and systems with necessary product information.
- Modify designs during development phases to align with design goals.
- Collaborate with the design and development team to bring the line from concept to bulk.
- Color the line based on feedback from design meetings.
- Support the team in meeting deadlines for design and development.
- Ensure compliance with production calendars to meet all deadlines.
- Draw and update sketches, fill out BOMs and spec sheets in PLMS, and support technology graphics for sales and marketing purposes.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends in silhouettes and fabrics.
- Update tech packs and visual line sheets to represent the current line.
- Create and maintain tech packs (BOM, technical sketches, construction references, measurement charts).
- Prepare fit comments and development comments and revise tech packs for production.
- Closely collaborate and communicate with suppliers, the product manager, and other product engineer team members throughout the entire development process.
- Collaborate with the design and product development teams to evaluate and fit garments.
- Assist the designer with print and pattern design.
- Assist the design and development team with organizing catalogs samples and swatches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or similar field, or four years of experience in apparel design.
- Minimum of one year of design and/or development experience.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fitting.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Print and pattern experience preferred.

Pay
Pay Range: $58,234.00-$72,766.50
