Kitting Associate A shift M-F 6am-230pm
About the role
As a Kitting Associate at DSV, you will provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management, as well as handle various customer material movement requests. You will assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices in a datacenter environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
- Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying accurate part numbers, quantities, and pristine condition of materials.
- Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on-site at the datacenter.
- Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics.
- Install rack hardware using various hand, power, and measuring tools.
- Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
- Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards.
- Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday.

Requirements
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to forge positive working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills for confident decision-making to meet production goals.
- Experience with computers is required.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Capability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to pass federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests.
Pay
For this position, the expected base pay range is $43,680.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
