Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Health department, sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Washing pots and pans.
  • Cleaning China, glassware, silverware, mopping and sweeping floors.
  • Restocking buffet lines with ice, China, flatware, and glassware.
  • Polishing silver equipment as needed.
  • Emptying trash cans and maintaining the loading dock.
  • Overseeing the overall cleanliness of floors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Maintaining a pace of work to meet business demands.
  • Operating equipment as directed.
  • Respecting all company property.
  • Assisting others in duties as directed by supervisors.
  • Assisting patrons in answering questions and directing them to areas of safety during emergencies.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 100lbs repetitively throughout the workday.
  • The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.
  • The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
  • The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.
  • The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.
  • The physical ability to tolerate any required personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, safety goggles, and other protective equipment deemed appropriate on a continuous basis.
  • Safety awareness and ability to operate motorized equipment.
  • Attention to detail and visual capabilities to inspect work upon completion.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
  • Communication skills to verbally, clearly and articulately.
  • Understanding and compliance with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.
  • Must have neat and clean appearance.
