Kitchen Utility/ Dishwasher - Full-Time

RiverWoods is seeking a full-time dishwasher/kitchen utility worker to join our culinary team and contribute to our resident-focused community. You’ll enjoy meaningful work in an environment where you can make a difference in the lives of our residents every day.

Schedule

Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $16.50/hr or more, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and silverware by hand or machine
• Transport clean and dry tableware to proper places in dining rooms and kitchens
• Clean working areas, steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment
• Assist in cutting, peeling, and washing fruits and vegetables (as State youth laws permit)
• Remove garbage from kitchen areas
• Sweep and mop floors thoroughly at end of shift
• Follow daily sanitation cleaning schedule
• Check in and stock groceries
• Discard broken and chipped glassware after showing the items to the Sous Chef
• Help set up and break down after special functions and deliver food to various areas as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• No prior experience required
• Position involves weekends and holidays
