Kitchen Utility

Rusty Rail Brewing Company is seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Utility to join its growing culinary team. The role involves learning multiple areas of the food operation, including prep cooking, line cooking, food‑truck service, expo, and general kitchen support in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to recipes and company standards.
• Assist with food prep and station setup.
• Work on the line during service periods.
• Support food‑truck operations and events.
• Coordinate orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and workstations.
• Restock ingredients, food products, and supplies throughout shifts.
• Assist with kitchen organization and inventory management.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members across multiple stations.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and food quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Previous restaurant, kitchen, food‑truck, prep‑cook, line‑cook, or expo experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule

Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available, with 30–39 hours per week. Shifts include day, evening, weekend, and holiday work, and scheduling is flexible.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.
