Responsibilities

No two shifts are exactly alike, but you might: build beautiful sandwiches that guests can't wait to eat, prep ingredients and set up stations for a smooth, successful service, follow recipes and standards that make every bite consistently delicious, keep ticket times fast without sacrificing quality, work in a clean, organized, and food-safe manner from open to close, keep the kitchen stocked and ready for whatever the rush brings, learn new stations and skills so every day stays fresh and interesting, adapt to menu changes, coaching, and always aim to get better, pitch in wherever your teammates need you most.

Qualifications

You don’t need bagel experience. Variety is the spice of life and we hire folks with a crazy wide range of backgrounds! You’ll do well if you have at least 1 year experience washing dishes, wielding a knife (extra safely), following recipes and crushing it in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The right attitude and a strong baseline > a polished resume.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reading, and communicating effectively; standing, walking, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive physical movements; lifting up to 50 pounds; and safely operating equipment and tools using manual dexterity. This role also requires working in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures, and occasionally working in confined spaces. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
