As a Kitchen Team Member, you will maintain a safe and clean workplace while delivering quality food and exceptional customer service. This role requires attention to detail, a sense of urgency, teamwork, and a passion for food safety and kitchen management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality food to customers
• Maintain foodservice displays to ensure they are fully stocked for business needs
• Manage inventory of prepared ingredients, ensuring compliance with temperature and shelf-life guidelines
• Follow food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and rotating products
• Set up, break down, sanitize, and maintain clean prep stations
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service through positive interactions
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and work effectively in a team
• Adhere to uniform, personal hygiene, and appearance standards
• Support opening and closing duties, including end-of-shift cleaning
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean work areas
• Follow safety and security standards diligently
• Perform all other duties as required or assigned by management

Cross-training Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register throughout the shift, ensuring balanced transactions and assisting customers accurately
• Stock products on shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance
• Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash-related issues as needed
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift as per company guidelines
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to increase sales
• Escalate issues to the next-level manager when immediate attention is needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• ServSafe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
• Knife skills and previous restaurant experience are a plus
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to bend frequently and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong teamwork and punctuality skills
• Able to read, write, and speak basic English
• Able to successfully complete a consecutive 90-day probationary period
• Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week

  Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill-ups per week.
