Core Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the installation, inspection, and maintenance of kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers.
- Ensure that all systems are compliant with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA guidelines.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of technicians, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure timely and efficient service delivery and maintain high levels of team performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguisher services, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with clients to address their needs and ensure the highest standards of fire safety and system performance.
- Ensure all work performed adheres to safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular inspections and audits to verify compliance.
- Stay updated on changes to fire safety regulations and implement necessary updates to systems and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of system installations, inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare and present reports on system performance, service activities, and compliance status to management.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguisher services.
- Implement best practices and process improvements to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant fire safety and inspection software, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Fire Protection Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician) are a plus.
