Kitchen Service Utility Service Worker

Responsibilities
- Clean dishes, pots, and pans by hand and/or using a dishwasher
- Clean all work areas, including steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment
- Sweep and mop the kitchen and cafeteria daily
- Remove garbage and cardboard from the kitchen and cafeteria areas
- Auxiliary in receiving and putting away food and supply deliveries
- Auxiliary in the setup and breakdown of breakfast and lunch service
- Maintain a daily and weekly cleaning schedule
- Maintain the dishwashing station and three-compartment sink in a sanitary condition
- May assist with light food preparation as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility leadership
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior kitchen or utility experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food safety
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and MVR check
