Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant - Bowood

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. Working as part of a friendly and professional team, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and food preparation areas
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks
• Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Helping to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations

Working Hours

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week on a shift rota, which include 08.00-16.30 and 16.00-23.00. Due to the rural location at the Bowood Estate, reliable transport is required and free on-site parking is provided.
