Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books.
- Conduct walk-through inspections; perform routine maintenance and repair of walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, dishwashers, mixers, ovens, stoves, and all other related equipment.
- Work with high voltage and circuit boards.
- Record gauge readings, repairs completed, and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
- Maintain technical logs and record all relevant data as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying management of concerns and observations.
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to deliver a service level that creates a positive, memorable guest experience.
- Must be able to read, understand, and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams, and drawings.
- Must know proper refrigeration practices and have knowledge of refrigeration gauges and equipment.
- Commitment to going above and beyond in accomplishing position responsibilities to support organizational goals.
- Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
