Kitchen Manager - Nights

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all night shift food preparation activities in the kitchen.
  • Ensure that all ingredients are prepped and ready for service in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the prep area following health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and stage catering orders.
  • Prepare and stage commissary requistions for our Berkley and Corktown locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of prep and production activities.
  • Enforce proper food handling and sanitation procedures among kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food preparation or kitchen supervisory role.
  • Proficient in inventory management and ordering procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Evening and night availability.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • High volume production experience.
