Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures.
- In conjunction with all management, enforce compliance with all employment policies and oversee cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times.
- Direct productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times.
- Manage performance of Back of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
- Assist with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones.
- Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks as part of overall responsibility for inventory and safety in the kitchen.
- Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
- Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs.
- Direct work for Back of House employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules, and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant.
- Train Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
- Review applications, interview, and hire or make recommendations to hire Back of House employees.
- Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals.
Qualifications
- A passion for made from scratch food.
- Experience supervising and managing kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00
