About the role
The Kitchen Manager position at Road Ranger is available in Bourbonnais, IL. This role oversees the Ranger Deli and Subway Express teams and is responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and high-quality food production
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment
- Train and lead a team of kitchen staff to meet operational goals and exceed customer expectations
- Operate the point-of-sale system and manage cash and inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive work environment
- Hire, train, and develop new employees to build a strong team
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure consistency across all Food Service Concepts
Requirements
- At least 1 year of restaurant management experience
- Proven ability to manage a team and lead effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license

$48,000 to $55,000 base annually, plus bonus!
