Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
- In conjunction with all management, enforce compliance with all employment policies and oversee cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times
- Direct productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
- Manage performance of Back of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Assist with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
- Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks as part of overall responsibility for inventory and safety in the kitchen
- Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures
- Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs
- Direct work for Back of House employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules, and assigning tasks before, during and after open hours of the restaurant
- Train Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Review applications, interview, and hire or make recommendations to hire Back of House employees
Qualifications
- A passion for scratch-made food for all
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the Texas Roadhouse brand family
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The schedule will vary based on the needs of the restaurant and may include evening and weekend shifts.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
