Role And Responsibilities
- Operate various cooking equipment – ovens, kettles, dishwasher, pumps, etc.
- Verify correct ingredients and measure/weight ingredients.
- Place products on trays and prepare for cooking.
- Scoop/fill products into kettle and add designated ingredients; monitor time and temperatures.
- Scoop/remove cooked products from kettle.
- Clean and sanitize equipment/work area after each use.
- Gather veggie carts, fill containers with hot stock, palletize boxes, run pan wash machine, utilize pallet jack to move totes and loads.
- Communicate pertinent information to Supervisor.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Follow safety rules & procedures.
- Follow food safety procedures.
- Follow environmental protocols.
- Follow sanitation procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Prior manufacturing or food experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must have high attention to detail, be dependable, trustworthy, able to bring energy to tasks, and maintain good relations with others.
