Responsibilities
- Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures
- Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
- Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
- Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
- Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively for great customer service and throughput
- Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is in good repair; fix malfunctioning equipment promptly
- Ensure compliance with necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
- Fulfill Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
Requirements
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- A high school diploma
- Restaurant experience

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $17.40–$19.35 per hour, with the possibility of digital tips. Actual base pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and/or education. Visit Chipotle's benefits page for more details.
