Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively for great customer service and throughput
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
• Maintain kitchen equipment in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment as quickly as possible
• Ensure compliance with necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
• Fulfill Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• A high school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $18.20–$20.26 per hour, eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and/or education. Visit https://jobs.chipotle.com/benefits for more details.

Schedule

As a Kitchen Leader, you will be on your feet, busy accomplishing your station's goals, and ready to pitch-in to help your teammates. Shifts may vary, but typically involve working in a fast-paced environment.
