About the role

Organize and properly prepare trays of food from the kitchen service line for server staff in the Oxford Grill area.

Responsibilities

• Interpret food orders coming through kitchen printer from dining room
• Organize orders for service
• Prepare food trays from completed kitchen line items and organize on trays for service staff to serve
• Prepare and serve appropriate side sauces with kitchen items
• Keep station and kitchen service area neat and organized
• Keep beverage service and food service trays neat, clean, and organized
• Maintain strict quality control on all food being served:
  • Food is at proper temperature
  • Food is well presented
  • Proper accompaniments are in place with meals
• Maintain server drop off and pick up areas of kitchen to ensure they are clean and functional, including:
  • Wine/beer service areas
  • Dishwasher station
  • Expo Station
  • Server Salad Station

Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours)
• Ability to be organized and calm in a stressful environment
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Work requires some physical exertion, such as reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Pay

$16.00–$18.00 per hour
