Kitchen Cabinet Design Technician

About the role

A professional kitchen cabinetry detailer is needed to perform duties in residential homes. Duties include understanding kitchen carpentry, being efficient with a tape measure, discussing installation procedures and techniques with homeowners, and creating kitchen designs based on measurements.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply measurements for kitchen design
• Engage with homeowners professionally during measurements
• Utilize a tape measure accurately to assess existing spaces and consider home factors
• Participate in 2-4 weeks of training in the field
• Travel within designated area and, under special circumstances, beyond
• Drive own vehicle with valid driver’s license

Requirements

• Experience in kitchen design and installation
• Active understanding of measurements for kitchen design
• Attention to detail while performing measurements
• Comfortable working in residential homes
• Confidence and accuracy in using a tape measure
• Driver’s license

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in cabinet installation or design

Skills

• Understanding of kitchen carpentry
• Efficiency with a tape measure
• Communication skills with homeowners
