Kitchen and Bath Estimator

Job Summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Kitchen and Bath Estimator with expertise in AI who will design, quote, and bid kitchen and bath projects. The ideal candidate should have experience with 2020 Design and Excel, and a strong understanding of construction principles.

Requirements to be Considered for this Position

• Knowledgeable in the basic aspects of construction
• Previous experience using 2020 Design and Excel
• A level of knowledge in the application of the products being designed
• Competency in basic mathematics
• Knowledgeable in reading architectural plans
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively

Responsibilities of the Position

• Designing:
• Creates design illustrations based from blueprints to produce working drawings
• Completes and finalizes designs for installation
• Evaluates designs to ensure that design standards are being met
• Analyzing and Troubleshooting:
• Reviews and analyzes specifications, blueprints, engineered drawings and related designs to determine factors affecting design of cabinets
• Support:
• Communicates with the team, customers, and Sales to ensure designs are accurate throughout the process
• Aids Sales in responding to questions/concerns from customers
