Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Kit Auditor to join our team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic components, counterfeit component detection, and inventory control within the defense and aerospace industries. This role requires precision, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in kit auditing and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough audits of kits to ensure all components meet quality and specification requirements.
- Pull stock based on Bill of Materials to compose kits for production.
- Identify and report counterfeit or non-conforming electronic components.
- Conduct cycle counting and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Return parts to stock as necessary, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Log parts received or pulled using the internal SQL-based inventory management system.
- Collaborate with procurement, quality, and production teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with defense and aerospace industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Kit Auditor or in a similar role within the defense or aerospace industries.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and counterfeit component detection techniques.
- Proficiency in cycle counting and inventory control processes.
- Experience with logging parts in internal SQL systems or similar inventory databases.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and record-keeping.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with quality assurance and compliance audits.
