Kit Assembler I (1st Shift)
About the role
The Diagnostics Specialist position is responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of kits on first shift (6:00 - 2:30 PM). This includes packaging kits according to established quality standards, accurately completing required documentation, cleaning and setting up assembly equipment, performing in-process quality checks, inspecting products for defects, utilizing SAP for work order transactions, and participating in ongoing training processes.
Responsibilities
- Packaging kits according to established quality standards.
- Accurately and neatly completing required documentation.
- Cleaning, setting up, and operating assembly equipment.
- Performing in-process quality checks for specific quality attributes.
- Inspecting products for defects and conformance to specified quality standards.
- Utilizing SAP system for work order transactions.
- Actively participating in ongoing training processes to ensure company compliance.
- Demonstrate competency in Diasorin's safety policies and procedures and be aware of the hazards specific to the work area.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma required
- 1+ Years of assembly experience required
- Education and Experience Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Ability to follow instruction, written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work.
- Ability to manage time effectively (arrival, departure, lunch, break, daily tasks, accountability to specific time commitments).
- Skilled in information-specific record keeping as well as GMP and GDP.
- Demonstrated competence in reading and completing charts, forms, and other documents.
Physical Demands
- Remain in a stationary position - Frequently
- Move in and around the workplace for purposes of accessing office equipment, meeting with others, etc. – Occasionally
Pay & Benefits
The hourly posting for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
