King Air Fixed Wing Pilot - Full Time

About the role

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. The department is currently seeking a full‑time pilot to join an all‑captain two‑pilot crew flying company‑owned and maintained King Air B200s.

Responsibilities

• Comply with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
• Demonstrate skills and experience as a pilot.
• Directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from initial dispatch until termination of the flight.
• Maintain good working knowledge of the company Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Flight Manual, and any other requirements pertinent to specific flights.
• Demonstrate interdisciplinary skills when working with team members.
• Apply effective critical thinking skills to problem solve and immediately respond to changing environments.
• Maintain a weight of 240 pounds or less when fully dressed in uniform.
• May be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on‑call.
• Share on‑call and vacation coverage shifts with other pilots.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education with previous Part 135 experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2,000 fixed‑wing flight hours.
• 250 multi‑engine hours required; turbine time desired.
• Meet instrument currency requirements listed in FAR 61.57(c) or hold a current company instrument proficiency check.
• Possess a current FAA Commercial Certificate with Multi‑Engine Land and instrument rating.
• Possess a current second class medical certificate.

Pay

Salary range: $49.50 – $81.50.

Schedule

Work shift: 12 hours – varied shifts. Scheduled weekly hours: 42.
