Residential Hospice is seeking dedicated volunteers to help patients and families during their end-of-life journey. Our volunteers provide companionship and friendship to patients wherever they are, be it at in a nursing facility or at home.

  • Engage with patients in variety of ways such as reading aloud, doing puzzles, or attending facility activities with the patient.
  • Provide a respite for caregivers who are caring for a loved one by sitting with a patient while the caregiver can take time for themselves.

Qualifications

Volunteers must be compassionate and caring. No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt to different situations is important.
