Responsible for implementing district curriculum and standards in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Wilmette Public Schools District 39.
Engages in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Collaborates with colleagues to support student learning and school improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Teach assigned classes according to the curriculum and standards.
Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with district goals.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
Participate in department meetings and collaborate with other teachers.
Assist in extracurricular activities and community outreach programs.
Requirements
Master's degree in education or related field.
Valid Illinois teaching certificate.
Experience in educational settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Qualifications
