This role focuses on transforming young learners' lives through a unique educational model that emphasizes life skills development over traditional academic instruction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate dynamic life-skills workshops that enable K-3 students to build communication, concentration, feedback, and other enduring skills through hands-on participation instead of passive listening.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching, utilizing Coachbot analytics, established motivation frameworks, and meaningful relationships to ensure every child progresses toward ambitious weekly learning targets.
• Evaluate life-skill competency through Alpha's Test2Pass framework, guiding students until they exhibit genuine mastery—not merely attendance.
• Tailor your coaching approach to your cohort's developmental stage, whether that involves songs, movement, and narratives for younger children or greater autonomy and responsibility for older students.
• Cultivate relationships where students feel secure enough to extend themselves beyond their perceived limits.

Requirements

• Willing to work on-site at an Alpha campus.
• Current openings for this compensation tier are located in Scottsdale, AZ; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, Georgetown, Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth, and Houston, TX; and Park City (Salt Lake City area), UT.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or comparable settings.
• Demonstrated success motivating young children to reach challenging objectives, with concrete examples of your influence.
• Comfort leveraging AI-powered learning tools while dedicating your own efforts to coaching, motivation, and life-skill cultivation.
• The capacity to combine warmth with consistent, high expectations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background in youth athletics, children's theater, camp leadership, Montessori, progressive education, or highly interactive after-school programs.
• Personal history of reaching ambitious objectives in academics, sports, or your professional life.
• Exceptional storytelling or performance abilities that naturally engage young children's attention.
• Track record of transforming hesitant or reserved children into confident, active contributors.
