About the role

This role focuses on transforming young learners' lives through adaptive technology-supported learning and personalized coaching. It aims to cultivate confidence, resilience, communication skills, and perseverance in students aged K-3.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate dynamic life-skills workshops focusing on communication, concentration, feedback, and other essential life skills.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching using Coachbot analytics to ensure students meet ambitious weekly learning targets.
  • Evaluate life-skill competency through Alpha's Test2Pass framework, guiding students to genuine mastery.
  • Tailor coaching approaches based on students' developmental stages, employing various methods like songs, movement, and narratives for younger children and greater autonomy for older students.
  • Cultivate a supportive environment where students feel secure to push their limits.

Requirements

  • Current openings for this compensation tier are located in Scottsdale, AZ; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, Georgetown, Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth, and Houston, TX; and Park City (Salt Lake City area), UT.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or comparable settings.
  • Demonstrated success motivating young children to reach challenging objectives, with concrete examples of your influence.
  • Comfort leveraging AI-powered learning tools while dedicating your own efforts to coaching, motivation, and life-skill cultivation.
  • The capacity to combine warmth with consistent, high expectations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background in youth athletics, children's theater, camp leadership, Montessori, progressive education, or highly interactive after-school programs.
  • Personal history of reaching ambitious objectives in academics, sports, or your professional life.
  • Exceptional storytelling or performance abilities that naturally engage young children's attention.
  • Track record of transforming hesitant or reserved children into confident, active contributors.
