Kinaxis Engineer, Quality Technology Services (QTS)

About the role

The Quality Technology Services (QTS) team within Amazon Robotics is seeking an ITAppDev Engineer to join our team to be part of a digital transformation initiative. This role involves configuring, developing, and supporting our next-generation supply chain planning (SCP) systems built on the Kinaxis platform. The candidate will help scale these systems to handle thousands of parts for procurement, planning, and manufacturing across Amazon Robotics' global operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the Kinaxis platform to meet the specific requirements of Amazon Robotics' supply chain and operations
• Develop and implement Kinaxis workflows, business rules, and integrations to automate and optimize supply chain processes
• Collaborate with the Kinaxis development team to extend the platform's capabilities through custom applications and extensions to drive continuous enhancements and optimizations
• Monitor Kinaxis platform performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance system responsiveness, scalability, and reliability
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kinaxis functionality, integrations, and data processing
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into effective Kinaxis solutions
• Provide training and support to end-users on the Kinaxis platform, including functionality, workflows, and best practices
• Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to facilitate user adoption and self-service
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations within the Kinaxis platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar supply chain planning platforms or applications in digital space
• 1+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing operations experience
