Quality Engineer Technician

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and analytical support to the quality department.
• Records data accurately and creates quality analysis reports and quality KPI’s.
• Prepares both external and internal reports / KPIs.
• Advanced Excel user with good all-round MS Office tools capability.
• Maintains records and KPIs for all aspects of non-conforming material.
• Manages non-conforming material recovery and the respective records and KPIs.
• Sustains all aspects of document registration.
• Maintains and supports in all aspects of the ISO Intranet.
• Aids in the preparation of ISO Documentation and document management.
• Maintains files for the department.
• Must be flexible in their approach to work and tasks to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a quality department.
• Inspection experience.
• Computer hardware knowledge.
• ISO auditing experience or knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 1400.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including outlook, Word, excel and Power point with strong bias towards Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail. Ability to focus throughout working day.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Must have a comprehensive understanding of the components and the method of their assembly.

Skills

Advanced Excel user with good all-round MS Office tools capability.
