Primary Objective

Maintains efficiency of the tile firing process.

Major Function and Scope

• Monitors tile movement through the kiln firing process.
• Ensures process operates efficiently by inspecting tile for defects.
• Records kiln temperature hourly.
• Collects tile samples for laboratory analysis.
• Monitors equipment and processes, reporting issues to supervisor.
• Fulfills ISO operating procedures and control plans.
• Supports a team environment by cooperating and communicating with colleagues.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Basic understanding and ability to speak English.
