About the role

The Kids Express and Urgent Care Tech supports healthcare providers in delivering patient care, focusing on the developmental needs of patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians in providing patient care.
• Communicates effectively with patients and their families.
• Accepts delegated tasks and reports relevant patient information appropriately.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to privacy standards.
• Complies with safety management policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Adapts to changing patient volumes and meets the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Works within the scope of practice as a Certified Medical Assistant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of experience as a PCA, STNA, or Medical Assistant
• One year of customer service experience
• Experience documenting in an electronic medical record (EMR)
• Certified Medical Assistant (strongly preferred)
