Kids Club Attendant

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all assigned children in the Kid's Club area and ensure each child remains in the designated area.
• Provide child care, including paging parent/guardian when necessary to assist with discipline issues and attending to personal needs.
• Participate in and entertain children with games or other approved activities.
• Administer first aid to children in accordance with company policy.
• Project a positive, friendly, and caring attitude while interacting with children and their parents.
• Maintain the Kid’s Club area clean and up to set standards.
• Check that all toys and other objects are clean and safe.
• Ensure the safety of children by following all safety procedures.
• Report any incidents, member complaints, or child health concerns to the Kid's Club Supervisor/Lead or Operations Manager (health alerts may be posted as required).
• Verify all parents receive copies of the Kid’s Club policies.
• Confirm that members using the Kid’s Club have paid for the service, with a receipt indicating membership type.
• Ensure parent or guardian signs the Kids Club Agreement and provides an emergency information card at registration.
• Ensure the individual checking in the child is listed on the Kid's Club Agreement/Information Card.
• Ensure parent/guardian completes and signs the Kid's Club Register when checking children in and out.
• Ensure proper payment is received for the use of the Kid's Club.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Patience in dealing with children and customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Energetic and friendly demeanor.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR/AED certification (required).
• California employees must be Trust Line certified before working with children (required).
• State‑specific certifications may be required (see manager for details).
• 6–12 months of child‑care experience preferred.

This position is with an independently owned and operated franchise. Applications and hiring decisions are handled directly by the franchisee, not by UFC Gym.
