Kids Club Attendant
About the role
The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children at the club. This role supports supervising children, ensuring their safety, and facilitating fun and creative activities that promote learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children at the club.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the youth/day care center.
- Assist children with any help needed including serving lunch or dinner with drinks.
- Engage in physical activities with children, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
- Manage and engage a group of young children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Monitor and actively participate with children, ensuring they are under constant supervision.
- Remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment.
- Manage and engage a group of young children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure daily assignments are completed in designated areas to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly and organized workspaces.
- Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety.
- Previous experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols for childcare environments.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages.
- Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children.
- Physical requirements: Engage in physical activities with children, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving. Occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases. Squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion. Talking, hearing, and seeing.
Qualifications

Schedule
Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines. Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.
