Job Description

• Manages the transplant waiting list and patient status updates.
• Facilitates communication between patients, families, and the transplant team.
• Schedules transplant surgeries and related procedures.
• Provides education and support to patients and families throughout the transplant process.
• Maintains post-transplant recovery and follow-up care.
• Coordinates donor organ procurement and transportation logistics.
• Communicates stem cell collection/surgery schedule with the dialysis department.
• Coordinates blood bank for designated donor and pheresis blood products.
• Organizes pre- and post-bone marrow transplant evaluations for the patient and donor, when applicable.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures related to transplant coordination.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ year leadership experience [Required]
• 1+ year of transplant, critical care [Required]
• 3+ years' experience as a Nurse [Preferred]
• Experience in kidney transplant care, nephrology care, dialysis care [Preferred]
• Critical care experience or palliative care of patients with life-limiting or life-threatening illness [Preferred]
• Teaching/preceptor experience [Preferred]
• Transplant care experience [Preferred]

Pay Range

$72,189.82 - $134,259.75
