About the role

The Kid Zone Team Member at the Greater Philadelphia YMCA positively impacts the community by helping children reach their potential, enact age-appropriate goals, and change lives within the Y community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, safe, and clean environment for children to play and learn
• Engage with children to maximize their experience
• Vigilantly monitor the children and their environment
• Prevent risk, bullying, and misbehavior

Requirements

• Age 15 or older
• Experience and comfort working in child care (professional experience not required)
• Willingness and desire to live out the mission of the Y
• Able to perform life-saving skills in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
