About the Role
Kid to Kid is a buy-sell-trade store specializing in gently used clothes, shoes, toys, and equipment for babies and kids. We buy items from the community—paying cash on the spot or offering store credit—and resell them at significant discounts. Our focus is on sustainable fashion, upcycling, and environmental responsibility.
When you join a Kid to Kid location operated by Summit Recommerce Group (SRG), you’ll be part of the largest multi-unit group in the Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate systems, with nearly 30 locations across six states. SRG is led by a female founder with deep retail roots, offering the infrastructure of a corporate team while maintaining a supportive, non-corporate culture. We prioritize growth, cross-training, and internal advancement.
Responsibilities
- Presort incoming clothes, toys, and equipment from community vendors.
- Use our computer system to buy in and price items for inventory.
- Organize racks, tag, and hang clothing to maintain a shoppable store.
- Test toys and assemble equipment as needed.
- Ring out customers at the register and educate them on selling to us.
- Assist with social media posts to promote the store.
