About the role

The Buyer at Kid to Kid operates in a fast-paced environment, focusing on sustainable fashion, upcycling, and environmental responsibility. You will be responsible for presorting incoming items, using the company's computer system to buy in and price these items, organizing racks, tagging, hanging, testing toys and assembling equipment, ringing out customers, and teaching them how to sell to the store. This position offers real advancement opportunities within a network of nearly 30 locations, supported by experienced, founder-led leadership.

Responsibilities

• Presort incoming clothes, toys, and equipment brought in from vendors
• Use the company's computer system to buy in and price incoming clothes, toys, and equipment
• Organize racks, tag, and hang up clothing
• Test toys and assemble equipment
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to the store
• Help make posts on our social media pages

Requirements

We are looking for dependable, friendly people who want to stay busy during their working hours and who take pride in keeping the store organized and shoppable. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

While not specified, candidates should ideally have experience in retail or a related field, as well as strong organizational and customer service skills. Experience with computers and basic math skills are also beneficial.
