Kid to Kid Midlothian Buyer
About the role
We’re looking for part‑time and full‑time Buyers to join the team at our Kid‑to‑Kid Midlothian location. Buyers are responsible for inspecting incoming items to determine what to buy into inventory. The role involves staying busy during working hours, keeping the store organized and shoppable, and cross‑training across multiple areas of the store. Must be available to work a minimum of two shifts per week, including some weekends.
Location: 4537 Commonwealth, Midlothian, VA 23112
Responsibilities
- Presort incoming clothes, toys, and equipment brought in from vendors (community members selling to us).
- Use the computer system to buy in and price incoming items.
- Organize racks, tag, and hang up clothing.
- Test toys and assemble equipment.
- Ring out customers at the register and teach them how to sell to us.
- Help create posts for our social media pages.
