Keyholder - West Towne Crossing Rack

About the role

The ideal Key Holder is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. In this role, you’ll support daily store operations, maximize sales, and maintain operational standards while leading by example and fostering a customer-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of employees to ensure operational tasks and procedures are successful, including opening and closing routines.
• Lead by example, setting and exceeding personal and company goals while emphasizing outstanding customer service.
• Train and mentor employees to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Share your passion for fashion and inform customers about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, the Nordstrom Rewards program, and mailing list opportunities.
• Maintain organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Assist in resolving customer issues and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer and build solutions to meet their expectations.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new initiatives, concepts, and services within the store.
• Proven success in working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Pay

$17.80 - $18.50 hourly. Pay offers are dependent on location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
