Keyholder - Village Pointe Rack

About the role

The ideal Key Holder is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. In this role, you’ll support daily store operations, maximize sales, and maintain operational standards while leading by example and fostering a customer-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of employees to ensure operational tasks and procedures are successful, including opening and closing routines, while keeping the customer at the center of everything.
• Lead by example—set and exceed personal and company goals while emphasizing outstanding customer service.
• Train and mentor employees to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Share your passion for fashion and inform customers about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, the Nordstrom Rewards program, and the mailing list.
• Maintain organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.

Requirements

• A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer and build solutions to meet their expectations, including resolving issues.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new initiatives, concepts, and services within the store.
• Proven success working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Pay

$18.35 - $19.05 hourly.
