Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and point of sale system accurately and efficiently
• Perform opening and closing procedures, and make nightly cash deposits as needed
• Complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances
• Inspect textiles, items, and goods to determine sale ability
• Sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare items for resale throughout the day
• Help promote the development of service participants
• Commit to safety and help keep work area clean and void of hazards
• Operate equipment with attention to safe operating procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to operate cash register, perform stock duties and provide customer service
• Ability to drive and carry a valid driver's license and proof of insurance (preferred)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Previous supervisory experience in customer service with retail or food service experience is highly desirable
• Self-motivated but also a team player
• Able to work efficiently with an awareness of what is going on around you
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable
• Positive attitude and take pride in your work

Schedule

You must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
