Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and point of sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, and make nightly cash deposits as needed.
• With attention to detail, complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances.
• Inspect textiles, items, and goods to determine sale ability.
• Sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare these items for resale throughout the day.
• Help promote the development of service participants.
• Help keep your work area clean and void of hazards and operate equipment with attention to safe operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to operate cash register, perform stock duties and provide customer service.
• Ability to drive and carry a valid driver's license and proof of insurance (preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Previous supervisory experience in customer service with retail or food service experience is highly desirable.
• Self‑motivated team player.
• Ability to work efficiently with awareness of surroundings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable.

Schedule

You must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
