Keyholder/Shift Supervisor

About the role

Goodwill Industries of Akron is looking to hire a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and point of sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and make nightly cash deposits as needed.
• Complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances.
• Inspect textiles, items, and goods to determine sale ability; sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare these items for resale.
• Help promote the development of service participants.
• Commit to safety and keep the work area clean and free of hazards; operate equipment with attention to safe operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to operate cash register, perform stock duties and provide customer service.
• Ability to drive and carry a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Previous supervisory experience in customer service with retail or food service experience is highly desirable.
