About the role
As a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor, you will operate the cash register and point-of-sale system, perform opening and closing procedures, and make nightly cash deposits. You will complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances. Your role includes inspecting, sorting, hanging, tagging, pricing, and preparing items for resale. You will also help promote the development of service participants, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and operate equipment safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Make nightly cash deposits
- Complete reports including donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances
- Inspect, sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare items for resale
- Promote the development of service participants
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
- Operate equipment following safe procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
- Able to operate cash register, perform stock duties, and provide customer service
- Basic mathematical skills
- Previous supervisory experience in customer service with retail or food service experience is highly desirable
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude and pride in work
Ability to drive and carry a valid driver's license and proof of insurance is preferred.
