About the role
Meet your closet’s newest favorites—a casually cool collection of wardrobe must-haves designed by the fashionably-sensitive sisters, Sara and Erin Foster. The Stylist Key Holder partners with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to uphold the tradition of creating a memorable shopping experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Sales Generation
- Motivates the sales team to achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Supports the Store Manager in achieving total store goals and KPIs.
- Educates the sales team on store sales plans, personal sales goals, and store statistics.
- Leads by example on the sales floor and achieves individual sales goals.
- Customer Service
- Creates a customer-service-focused environment by modeling best practices in customer service, sales generation, and outreach.
- Maintains high energy, plays an active role on the sales floor, and coaches associates on clienteling processes and standards.
- Develops strong knowledge of company history, brand aesthetic, brand philosophy, and lifestyle, and communicates this information to the team and customers.
- Develops strong knowledge of company products (sizing, materials, construction, inventory levels, sales trends) and communicates this to customers to assist with sales.
- Handles escalated customer-service issues or concerns.
- Team Development
- Coordinates daily activities of the sales team and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participates in training new associates on company policies, brand aesthetic, products, and customer-service standards.
- Acts as a role model for the sales team by consistently exhibiting best practices in customer service and sales generation.
- Provides recognition and constructive feedback to team members to encourage growth and address performance concerns.
- Partners with the Store Manager to develop and train internal talent.
- Operations & Presentation
- Complies with all company policies and procedures, including those in the Employee Handbook and those communicated by management.
- Performs and coordinates store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the store.
- Processes all POS transactions (sales, returns, exchanges) quickly and accurately, and processes repair requests in accordance with company policies.
- Ensures the sales floor meets company standards for merchandising, visual presentation, and housekeeping.
- Ensures display product is in good condition and marked appropriately.
- Complies with company policies and procedures regarding merchandise and store security to minimize loss-prevention risks.
- Communication
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm in communication with clients, peers, management, and corporate partners.
- Participates in weekly manager conference calls as required.
- Communicates sales reports as required by company procedures.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of retail sales experience.
- Proven track record of sales generation and customer service.
- Interest in fashion and trend awareness.
- Strong computer skills—proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights and weekends.
Pay
Salary range: $26.00–$30.00/hour (base hourly). Offers are tailored based on education, experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Base salary is part of a total compensation package that may include commission, bonus, and other benefits.
