About the Role
Join Favorite Daughter, the casually cool collection of wardrobe must-haves from sisters Sara and Erin Foster. As a Key Holder, you’ll help customers fall in love with our pieces and keep the store running smoothly. This role is ideal if you thrive in a leadership position, love sales, and have a keen eye for style.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store, handling keys, alarms, and cash-handling procedures with care.
- Act as manager-on-duty—running the sales floor, motivating the team, and driving sales, whether the Store Manager is on-site or not.
- Set the pace for the team by modeling great selling and service every shift.
- Set and exceed your sales goals.
- Connect with every customer: understand their needs, share your knowledge, and make them feel valued.
- Build and maintain a personal clientele—regulars who text you when new items arrive.
- Keep your follow-up game strong to grow your client book.
- Bring the collection to life through visual merchandising, including styling displays, refreshing mannequins, and maintaining brand standards on the sales floor.
- Handle operational tasks: floor changeovers, product transfers, restocking, and daily stock maintenance.
- Keep the store polished and inviting through cleaning, tidying, and floor maintenance.
- Collaborate with your team to hit store goals and maintain high energy.
- Own loss prevention on your shifts—smart, consistent, and by the book.
- Present yourself polished and on-brand, as you represent the company.
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales experience and clientele-building at an elevated contemporary brand, with some key holder or leadership experience.
- Proven clienteling experience, preferably with an established client book—experience with Endear is a plus.
- Confidence handling opening/closing duties, cash management, and store keys.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A team-first heart and a customer-first instinct.
- Deep love and knowledge of the product.
- An eye for visual merchandising and maintaining a visually appealing space.
- Flexibility for a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
- Comfort with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office.
Pay
$23–$26/hour, plus commission that rewards your performance.
