Keyholder

About the role

The Keyholder at Pet Valu is responsible for ensuring consistent excellence in store operations, recommending the best products and services to enhance the health and happiness of pets, and driving profitability to support the store's growth.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all store operations, including cashiering and customer sales.
• Prepares merchandise orders, banks, and other paperwork.
• Places small items (up to 10 lbs.) into stock in the sales area.
• Sweeps, dusts, and performs other general store maintenance tasks.
• Unloads delivery vehicles and places stock (up to 50 lbs.) into the store.
• Assigns daily goals and tasks to ACEs when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is not present.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable means of transportation to and from the store.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
